TUMWATER AGAIN SHOWS UNIQUE LEADERSHIP

ZENN Electric Car

Tumwater, WA. has purchased electric cars for their meter readers, eliminating the following expenses for their city's taxpayers:

1. Gasoline
2. Oil & recycling expenses
3. Engine maintenance
4. Regular tune-ups
5. Air pollution
6. Anti-freeze & disposal expense
7. Poisoning the environment and associated expenses

Tumwater purchased the ZENN Car, which stands for Zero Emission, No Noise
from MC Electric Vehicles of Seattle.

"MC Electric Vehicles (MCEV) operates in Washington and Oregon with retail locations in Seattle, Spokane and Portland and wholesale vehicle distribution throughout North America. We provide sales, service and repair of electric vehicles. We are proud members of the Puget Sound Clean Air Coalition, The Seattle Electric Vehicle Association, the Electric Drive Transportation Association and the Washington State China Relations Council," quoting their website.

Congratulation Tumwater, for bringing another innovative idea to a South Sound municipality ! (see July 5 entry)
